Property and construction

Every site is a new office. Every one needs to work on day one.

Construction and property businesses run from vans, cabins and client sites as much as from head office. We support developers, contractors and managing agents across Yorkshire with connectivity that goes up as fast as the hoarding, mobile that's managed rather than chased, and systems that work in a site cabin.

Property and construction: IT support from Systemwork
  • Site connectivity in days, not months
  • Business mobile managed across every project
  • Office and site on one system
What construction needs from IT

The problems a site manager actually has

01

Sites open and close

Every project needs connectivity, phones and access from the first week, and it all needs closing down cleanly at handover.

02

Half the team is mobile

Site managers, surveyors and trades work from phones and tablets. Lost devices and SIM swaps are a weekly event.

03

Drawings, photos and contracts

Huge files that need to be current on site and safe in the office. The wrong version of a drawing costs real money.

04

Tender questions

Frameworks and main contractors increasingly ask for Cyber Essentials before you can bid.

How we help

Support that follows the work

Cyber EssentialsFramework and main-contractor requirementsUK GDPR

Site connectivity, fast

4G and 5G connectivity for cabins live within days, with a fixed line following when the site justifies it.

Managed business mobile

Every SIM and device tracked, new starters connected the day they join and lost phones locked before lunch.

Files current on every site

Drawings and documents synced and version-controlled, so the site is working from the same revision as the office.

Rugged, ready equipment

Devices that survive a site, supplied and replaced on a monthly cost so a cracked screen doesn't stop a survey.

Cyber Essentials for tenders

Certified in four to eight weeks, and renewed every year without you noticing.

One provider for the lot

Connectivity, mobile, IT support and phones from one team, so a problem on site has one number to call.

In practice

A property owner decided to open their own estate agency and came to us before they had a single system in place. The hard part was not the setup but the choosing: which agency platform would carry lettings, sales, compliance and client accounts without boxing them in later. We ran the selection with them, implemented the platform and the integrations around it, and delivered the office, phones and online presence to match. They opened trading on a system fit for the business they intended to become, not just the one they were starting.

FAQ

Property and construction: your questions answered

Not covered here? Call 0113 898 0565 and ask us directly.

How quickly can you get a new site online?

A 4G or 5G connection with proper Wi-Fi for the cabin is usually live within a few days. A fixed line can follow if the project runs long enough to justify it.

Can you take over our mobile contracts?

Yes. We review what you have, move what makes sense to O2 or EE business plans and manage every SIM from then on, including the ones still in contract elsewhere.

We use construction-specific software. Do you support it?

We support the environment it runs in and work with the vendor directly for anything that's theirs, so you're not stuck between two suppliers.

Do we need Cyber Essentials to tender?

For many public frameworks and an increasing number of main contractors, yes. It takes four to eight weeks and we handle the renewal each year.
