If the line stops, nothing else matters
Manufacturers measure IT failures in lost output, missed despatch and overtime. We support engineering and manufacturing businesses across Yorkshire with the response times production demands, connectivity that reaches the shop floor, and the security that protects the drawings you compete on.

- Shop floor and office on one network
- Backup connections so orders keep flowing
- Design and customer data protected
The realities of a working site
Downtime has a cost per hour
When the system that drives despatch or scheduling stops, the line stops with it, and everyone knows what an hour costs.
Two worlds on one site
Office systems and production equipment share a building, a network and increasingly the same risks. They need to talk without exposing each other.
Your IP is on a server
Drawings, tooling designs and customer specs are the business. Ransomware knows that too.
Supply chains ask questions
Larger customers increasingly want Cyber Essentials or evidence of controls before they place orders.
Support that reaches past the office door
Networks that cover the whole site
Wi-Fi and cabling designed for warehouses and workshops, not just desks, so scanners, terminals and tablets work where the work is.
Production and office kept apart, safely
Machine and control equipment isolated from office systems so a phishing email in accounts can't stop a machine on the floor.
Backups you've seen restored
Design files, ERP and customer data backed up and tested, so a bad day is an inconvenience rather than a closure.
Connectivity with a fallback
A backup line that takes over automatically, because orders, despatch labels and the phones all depend on the same connection.
Cyber Essentials for the supply chain
Certified in four to eight weeks, so the customer questionnaire stops being the thing that holds up the order.
Fast, on site when needed
Engineers on the road every day across Yorkshire, with site visits included in the monthly price.
A manufacturer's whole network went down one morning and took production with it. Nothing had been changed and nothing obvious had failed, which is the hard kind of outage. Our engineers traced it to a rogue device flooding the network with traffic, isolated it, and had the lines running again the same day. We then redesigned the network so a single faulty device can never take the floor down again.

Not covered here? Call 0113 898 0565 and ask us directly.
Can you work around production hours?
Yes. Planned work is scheduled around shifts and shutdowns, and the service desk runs around the clock for anything unplanned.
We have old machines running old software. Is that a problem?
It's common and it's manageable. We isolate older equipment from the rest of the network so it can keep doing its job without becoming the way in for an attacker.
Do you support ERP and MRP systems?
We support the environment they run in and work directly with your software vendor when something is theirs to fix.
What does Cyber Essentials involve for a manufacturer?
Five basic controls applied to every device and account, evidenced and assessed. Most sites need a few weeks of tidying and then it's an annual renewal we handle for you.
